Pikelets is the name for this recipe. Weird I know but they are so good! For this recipie you will need... 1 cup self-rising flour 1 tablespoon castor sugar or superfine sugar 1 egg 1 tablespoon butter, melted 1/2 cup milk, or as needed
Now to make this yummy treat you just have to...Sift the flour into a medium bowl, and stir in the sugar. Make a well in the center, and add the egg. Stir with a wooden spoon while gradually pouring in the milk until you reach the consistency that you prefer. Thicker picklets will need a thick batter, while thin picklets will need a thin batter. Stir in melted butter last, beating until smooth. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Coat with cooking spray. Drop by large spoonfuls onto the hot skillet. Picklets should be about 2 inches across. Flip when bubbles appear on the surface, and cook until browned on the other side.Enjoy!
Lunch
Okay, now what is everyones fave food?PIZZA!I know how everyones used to the old cheese and peppersoni, but today I thought I'd try crab and pineapple pizza.Trust me it's actually pretty good, just try it and I know you'll love it!To make this unusual pizza you will need... 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated pizza dough, 2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat, drained and flaked, 1 cup canned pizza sauce, 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained and roughly chopped,and1 (8 ounce) package light cream cheese, cubed. Some people don't like that much cream cheese on this pizza so you don't have to use all of it. Alright now here is how you make it...Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a pizza pan or cookie sheet. Spread both cans of dough out to cover the prepared pan, sealing any seams. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the crust, and dot with cream cheese cubes. Sprinkle shredded crabmeat over, then pineapple pieces. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until the crust is lightly browned. And there you go, a delectible and delicious lunch or dinner, or if you want to be a little crazy have it for breakfast!Once again I'm sorry, but no picture was available.Bon Appetite!
